MARINA MORRISSEY is an actor, dancer and producer based in Brooklyn. She received her BA in Anthropology from Williams College, and her MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
Recent stage credits include APPROPRIATE at Trinity Repertory Company, and THE UNDERPANTS, VANYA, SONIA, MASHA AND SPIKE, and FAMILY FURNITURE at White Heron Theatre Company. She performed her debut solo show, UNDER DURESS, this spring - a Rodgers and Hammerstein stand-up cabaret about drugs, deception, and being really fancy.
In 2016, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical by BroadwayWorld.com for her role as a “The Boss” in SIDESHOW.
Gwen Kingston
New York based actor/playwright GWEN KINGSTON tackles questions of power, privilege and protest, with a focus on uncovering the untold stories of silenced communities. She holds BAs in Theatre Studies and Linguistics from UC Berkeley and an MFA in acting from Brown/Trinity. In 2012 she co-founded FaultLine Theater in San Francisco and served as its first Artistic Director. She is a proud winner of the David Wickham Playwriting Award and the Travis Bogard Memorial Acting Prize. Her full length plays include Necrologue for 3 and Past Perfect.
Ashley Teague
ASHLEY TEAGUE creates theater that uplifts the issues of our time and celebrates the human spirit. Her work connects with community in a deeply personal way and endeavors to push the boundaries of what that connection can achieve. Ashley is the founding Artistic Director of Notch Theatre Company and a recipient of the 2017 Embark Fellowship Grant for Social Innovation in Entrepreneurship from the Swearer
Center for Public Service. While with Cornerstone Theater Company (CTC), she developed and led CTC’s Talk It Out
series, which travels throughout California creating community-engaged theater to change public policy around the school-to-prison pipeline crisis.
Prior to that she worked as a Producer for theatrical, creative content on films such as Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls, Paul Haggis’ The Next Three Days, Ed Zwick’s Love and Other Drugs, Tina Gordon Chism’s Peeples, and Gus Van Sant’s Promised Land. Recent directing credits include: CHQ Engagement Project Chautauqua Theatre Company, Invasion! Brown University, Side Show: The Musical PCPC, Romeo and Juliet Brown/ Trinity Rep, The Crucible Brown University, Bean Hollywood Fringe Festival (Best of), Jesus Hopped the A Train Lyric Theatre, Willful California State Capitol, Healthy Richmond East Bay Center for Performing Arts, Ajax Theater of War, Halfway Home Blank Theater. She recently assisted director Liesl Tommy and Sarah Rhul on the World Premiere production of Melancholy Play: A Chamber Musical at Trinity Repertory Theater. www.ashteague.com
